Annual Fishing Rodeo on May 1, 2010

The attached pictures are from the Martinsville Elks Lodge #1752.  The Lodge held its annual Fishing Rodeo on May 1, 2010. 49 children and their parents enjoyed a wonderful day of fishing at the beautiful Kings Grant pond just outside of Martinsville. Camden Byrd is the little boy with the trophy.  He caught the most fish.  The gentleman with the hat is Elk member Steve Merricks.  The picture of the pond shows the beauty of the surroundings in Martinsville.    Thirteen Elk members assisted with the event.  The children and all attending were also provided a hotdog lunch with all the trimmings.
