| Northern Neck Lodge 2666 has a short but very interesting history. Our Lodge began as Colonial Beach Lodge 2666 and was organized during the spring of 1982. We received our Charter in the fall of 1982. The Institution Ceremony was held on June 3, 1983, and was performed by the Honorable Edward W. McCabe, Past Grand Exalted Ruler. The ceremony was held at the Reno Restaurant, which is technically located in Maryland. (The Reno is located on a pier in the Potomac River, and the river is part of Maryland.) In March 1995 permission was obtained to purchase land on State Route 205 between Oak Grove and Colonial Beach. With the purchase of the land the membership requested that the name be changed to Northern Neck Lodge 2666. The Grand Lodge approved the name change in July 1995. |
