DRUG AWARENESS

To assist in the control of drug abuse through volunteer work and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. The goal of the program is prevention, to stop drug use before it starts by educating youth, fourth through ninth grades, about the adverse effects of marijuana, cocaine and alcohol, the "gateway drugs" most prevalent among youth. The program is designed to reach youth directly and through the adults that influence them, their parents and teachers.
