Dear Don:

            All of the Elks of Virginia can be proud of your first place award in Division 1 in the Grand Lodge competition for Outstanding State Association Americanism Report.  You and the members of your committee have my heartiest congratulations.

            I shall be the first one to stand up on the stage and cheer on Tuesday, July 6, 2010, in Orlando when the first place award is presented.  By copy of this letter, I am asking Steve Culbert to arrange for a photograph of the presentation at the front of the Convention hall on Tuesday morning.  I am sure Christopher Thomas will want to print it in The Old Dominion Elk.
